The members of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc.  strongly believe in developing youth leaders in today’s world and has been committed to this effort since its inception in 1935.  Our intention is to prepare youth to be globally prepared and able to compete and succeed in this ever-changing technology-driven world.

Youth

For Ages 12-18

The Youth Division of the National Association of Negro Business & Professional Women’s Clubs inspires young people to get involved in their communities and develop leadership skills that will change the world. We invite youth between the ages of 12-18 to join us as we “Build LEADERS within our Community,” which includes:

Some of our “Building Leaders” national initiatives include:

Leadership: Formation of a Youth & Beta Psi Advisory Board to bridge the gap between Youth to Beta Psi to young adult membership while fostering youth empowerment and ensuring our young voices are heard and valued.

Entrepreneurship: Series of national entrepreneurship workshops culminating with a pitch competition at the National Convention.

Advocacy: BPW Day on Capitol Hill, where our Youth and Beta Psi members bring their issues to lawmakers.

Development of Technology Skills: Hack-A-Thon or robotics competition that teaches critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

​Education: Implement the BPW Storytellers Program, which will teach our youth animation skills so they can tell their story unafraid, additionally teaching our young people the business side of being an influencer.

Readiness for College and Career: College tour(s) designed to offer an enriching and transformative experience as we help guide young individuals on a journey of exploration and discovery. And career focus days are designed to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world.

For Ages 18-21

Beta- Psi Clubs consist of young women and men attending an accredited college, university, business or technical school who want to get involved with human services, economic, social, and political issues affecting the lives and welfare of the poor, minorities and the handicapped. Bold, Energetic, Trustworthy, Aware, Positive, Sincere, Ingenious.

Brittany Montgomery

Brittany Montgomery

National Second Vice President

Brittany N. Montgomery is currently a licensed stockbroker at Charles Schwab. Additionally, Miss Montgomery owns several businesses, including SpaceMethods, a business development firm, PopUp Socials, an event planning company, and Blush Bartending, a mobile bartending venture. 

Miss Montgomery has contributed to several charities, including serving as the Special Events Chair and Training Liaison for the Junior League of Dallas, Grant Approver for United Way Dallas, and the Texas Women’s Foundation. She currently serves as the Second Vice-President for the South Dallas Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc. 

 Miss Montgomery is a former South Dallas Youth Club Member (South Central District) former Recording Secretary for South Dallas BPW, Past National Treasurer and a life member. Currently, she serves as the National Second Vice-President for the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc.

Miss Montgomery attended Southern Methodist University.

In her spare time, she loves traveling, writing C++ programming, brunch, reading and being a dog mom to her pug, Frank the Tank.
