NANBPWC DISTRICTS

MEETINGS
NATIONAL CONVENTIONS are held annually usually in late July or early August. National
Convention activities include forums, workshops, luncheons, opportunities for clubs to show-
case their service projects and receive recognition, and presenting awards to members and local
community activist. National Conventions are hosted by the Districts on a rotating basis.

DISTRICT CONFERENCES are held to provide effective communication between the clubs in
a district, plan for the National Convention, elect district officers, provide direction for the District,
and provide business, professional and leadership training for members. District Conferences are
generally held in the Spring, are 2 ½ days and hosted by a local club.

AREA/STATE MEETINGS are held at least annually, generally in the fall. Depending on the
number of clubs in a state and distance these meetings may include one or two states. The
purpose is to share Convention directives and internal development.

LOCAL CLUB MEETINGS
are held at least monthly to conduct business and plan and report
on club activities.
